Welcome to Expenditi (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”)! As you have just clicked our Terms of Service, please pause, grab a cup of coffee and carefully read the following pages.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) govern your use of the Expenditi mobile application (the “App”) and our website located at https://expenditi.neumeral.com (together, the “Service”), operated by Neumeral Technologies OPC Pvt Ltd
Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of the Service and explains how we handle information that results from your use of it. Please read it.
Your agreement with us includes these Terms and our Privacy Policy (“Agreements”). You acknowledge that you have read and understood the Agreements, and agree to be bound by them.
If you do not agree with (or cannot comply with) the Agreements, then you may not use the Service, but please let us know by emailing expenditi@neumeral.com so we can try to find a solution. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who wish to access or use the Service. Thank you for being responsible.
Expenditi is an expense tracker that stores the receipts, expense records, subscription details, categories and notes you create (“Your Content”) locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives or stores Your Content, and we cannot access, recover or restore it.
You are solely responsible for maintaining copies of Your Content. Deleting the App, resetting the App, or losing or replacing your device may permanently erase Your Content. We recommend using your device's own backup facilities. Expenditi is a record-keeping tool and does not constitute accounting, tax, legal or financial advice; you are responsible for the accuracy of your records and for consulting a qualified professional where appropriate.
If you provide us your email address — for example, by subscribing to updates — you agree that we may send you newsletters, product news and other information. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications by following the unsubscribe link or by emailing us at expenditi@neumeral.com.
If you wish to purchase any product or feature made available through the Service (a “Purchase”), the transaction is generally processed by the app store from which you downloaded the App (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play) or by a third-party payment processor, subject to their terms.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any payment method used in connection with a Purchase; and (ii) the information you supply is true, correct and complete. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for reasons including product availability, errors in the description or price, or if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.
Some features of the Service may be billed on a subscription basis (“Subscription(s)”). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (“Billing Cycle”), set on a monthly or annual basis depending on the plan you select.
At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the same conditions unless you cancel it, or it is cancelled. Where the Subscription is billed through an app store, you can manage and cancel it through that store's subscription settings. Should automatic billing fail, we (or the relevant store) may require you to complete payment manually within a stated deadline.
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a Subscription with a free trial for a limited period (“Free Trial”). If you are required to enter billing information to sign up for a Free Trial, you will not be charged until the Free Trial expires; unless you cancel beforehand, you will be automatically charged the applicable fees at the end of the trial. At any time and without notice, we reserve the right to modify the terms of, or cancel, a Free Trial offer.
We may, in our sole discretion and at any time, modify Subscription fees. Any fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle. We will provide you with reasonable prior notice of any change to give you an opportunity to cancel before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after a fee change comes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified amount.
Except when required by law, paid Subscription fees are non-refundable. Where you purchased through an app store, refunds are handled according to that store's refund policy. In exceptional cases, you may contact us at expenditi@neumeral.com and we will consider requests on a case-by-case basis.
You are responsible for Your Content, including its legality, reliability and appropriateness. Because Your Content is stored on your device and not transmitted to us, we do not monitor, access or edit it. You retain all rights to Your Content, and we claim no ownership over it.
The App itself, and the content we provide within it (excluding Your Content) — including text, graphics, logos and software — is the property of Neumeral Technologies OPC Pvt Ltd or used with permission. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, copy or exploit it for commercial purposes without our express prior written permission.
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:

The Service is intended only for access and use by individuals at least eighteen (18) years old. By accessing or using the Service, you warrant and represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the full authority, right and capacity to enter into this agreement and abide by all of these Terms. If you are not at least eighteen (18) years old, you are prohibited from accessing and using the Service.
The Service and its original content (excluding Your Content), features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Neumeral Technologies OPC Pvt Ltd and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws of India and foreign countries. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Neumeral Technologies OPC Pvt Ltd
You may provide us, either directly at expenditi@neumeral.com or via third-party tools, with information and feedback concerning errors, suggestions for improvements, ideas, problems and complaints related to our Service (“Feedback”). You acknowledge and agree that: (i) you shall not retain, acquire or assert any intellectual property right in the Feedback; (ii) we may have development ideas similar to the Feedback; (iii) Feedback does not contain confidential information from you or any third party; and (iv) we are not under any obligation of confidentiality with respect to the Feedback. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable right to use the Feedback in any manner and for any purpose.
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Neumeral Technologies OPC Pvt Ltd We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party web sites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms of service and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY THE COMPANY ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. THE COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE SERVICE OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT OR MATERIALS INCLUDED THEREIN. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, NEITHER THE COMPANY NOR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH IT REPRESENTS OR WARRANTS THAT THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY AUTOMATIC READING OF RECEIPTS OR EXTRACTION OF DATA, WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS OR EXPECTATIONS. THE COMPANY HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE FOREGOING DOES NOT AFFECT ANY WARRANTIES WHICH CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, YOU WILL HOLD US AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS HARMLESS FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE, HOWEVER IT ARISES, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORTIOUS ACTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LOSS OF DATA OR ANY CLAIM FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE. EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, IF THERE IS LIABILITY FOUND ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY, IT WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES, AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL THERE BE CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including a breach of these Terms. If you wish to terminate your use, you may simply discontinue using the Service and uninstall the App. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend our Service, and any feature or material we provide, in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if, for any reason, all or any part of the Service is unavailable at any time or for any period.
We may amend these Terms at any time by posting the amended terms on this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
No waiver by the Company of any term or condition set out in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition. If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
BY USING THE SERVICE OR OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED BY US, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.
